Subject: Support or A&M BBQ
To the Members o Sebastopol City Council,
I am writing to voice my support o A&M BBQ and, particularly, o the Austin amily who are members o our community. I am deeply concerned by the way this matter is being handled and we need to do better.
Kris Austin is a generous member o our community who has done the impossible o finding a way to live and build a business in Sebastopol. His business is doing very well despite the challenges and he deserves our support and generosity, not red tape and roadblocks.
The way this is being handled sends a clear message that this city is un riendly to small businesses and Black owned businesses. How is this going to be repaired? How are we making it possible or people to live here, raise amilies here, and open businesses that give so much to us? We all deserve better.
I want to see the city take accountability or this and correct their actions by giving Kris and A&M the support they need to make this process easier and ensure they eel that they belong here. Anything less is deeply disappointing and will cement that the city is unwelcoming to kind, hard working olks and especially to BIPOC amilies.
