Subject: Letter of Support for A&M BBQ
Dear Sebastopol City Council,
I’m writing to express my support for A&M BBQ and respectfully ask that consideration be given toward allowing them reasonable time and flexibility as they work through solutions to continue operating.
As someone who regularly highlights local businesses and community spaces through Golden State Mamas, I’ve seen firsthand how places like A&M become more than just somewhere to grab a meal. Small businesses help create connection, support local families, provide jobs, and contribute to the character that makes communities like Sebastopol special.
We have very much enjoyed our visits to A&M BBQ, and experiences like ours are exactly why local businesses matter. A&M has built more than a restaurant, they’ve created a place where people gather, connect, and support one another. Businesses like theirs are part of what gives communities personality and warmth.
Supporting local businesses matters, especially those actively trying to work with the city toward long-term solutions while continuing to provide jobs and serve the community. I hope the Council will consider allowing reasonable time for relocation efforts and collaborative solutions so they can continue serving Sebastopol and the people who support them.
