Subject: A&M BBQ
Dear Council Members,
I write to you regarding A&M BBQ. I am a neighbor and frequent visitor to the city of Sebastopol and having thoroughly enjoyed myself during my visits to your city. I love the feel and vibe of this city and how it's not just full of the same chains and franchises that can be found in nearly any city across the States. I have recently learned that A&M BBQ may be forced to shutter its doors. I beg you from the bottom of my heart to reconsider such a measure.
I moved to the area in 2023 from Louisiana. I cannot tell you what it means to me to find this quality of barbecue and southern hospitality without having to return to the South, which has become decidedly less hospitality in recent years. The staƯ at A&M are kind and welcoming. In fact, I was told "welcome home" on my first visit. The food is that heart warming and comfort food that stays with you. The atmosphere is relaxed with fantastic music. And that touch of Sebastopol is found in their apple slaw.
In short, A&M BBQ is everything that makes Sebastopol wonderful. I ask that you protect this fantastic place and ensure that A&M BBQ will be here for years to come to welcome one and all.
Sincerely,
Kathleen "Katie" Napolitano
