Dear City Council Members,
I am writing to express support for the local business, A&M BBQ, in the midst of the dispute raised by the local neighbors. This restaurant is one of my family's favorite places. The food is outstanding and the service from the owners is stellar. We would be devastated if this business was forced to close. As I have come to learn, there are very few locations that would suit their needs due to zoning constraints. As a community, we need to do everything we can to help a popular business like this succeed. What is the point otherwise? I propose either giving them a zoning variance or a rent subsidy to operate in another suitable location that isn't too far away from the original location. Either way, you need to give them more time to relocate.
