Dear City Councilmembers,
I grew up in Sebastopol, my kids go to school there, play sports there, and we are involved in a close knit community in Sebastopol. The small businesses help keep the city alive, and I believe you value that life in the city as much as I and many, many other people do. A&M BBQ has had tremendous growth - for good reason - and the possibility they are facing of having their own town essentially push them out on the streets is disheartening. I too own a small business, and it would be incredibly diƯicult to keep things running if we were forced to relocate suddenly. This isn’t a situation where anyone has been wronged, it’s just an inconvenience for some people. I hope you will work towards a solution that is amenable to as many people as possible, and show the community that the city of Sebastopol is working for its people, not just jumping to quick “solutions” that heavily favor one side and hurt another.
