Dear Sebastopol City Council,
I’m writing to express my support for A&M BBQ and to ask that the City work with them toward a reasonable long-term solution that allows them to continue operating in our community.
A&M BBQ has become a meaningful part of Sebastopol for many of us. Beyond serving incredible food, they’ve created a gathering place that brings people together. They’ve contributed to the local economy, supported community events, and built something that many residents genuinely value.
I understand that concerns have been raised regarding smoke, traƯic, and neighborhood impact, and I appreciate the importance of addressing those concerns thoughtfully. At the same time, I hope solutions can be found that balance the needs of nearby residents with the value that A&M BBQ brings to Sebastopol as a small local business.
A&M has shown a willingness to engage with the community and work toward improvements. I hope the City will allow them the time and opportunity to continue making adjustments, explore relocation or operational solutions if needed, and remain part of Sebastopol.
Small businesses like A&M BBQ are part of what makes Sebastopol unique. Supporting local businesses while working collaboratively through challenges strengthens our whole community.
