Subject: A&M barbecue
Good morning,
I am just hearing of the community discussion regarding A&M barbecue. I live at Petaluma Ave Homes one black away from A&M. I would like to add my opinion regarding this concern. What I feel is that there IS a smoke problem, this is a legitimate complaint (not made by me, but I have experienced it a lot). There is a very strong smell of smoke in my area nearly every night and every morning. Strong enough that it literally smells the way it did when we were experiencing wildfires. If I leave my bedroom window open at night,‘I will smell smoke in my room. This is an issue that is aƯecting people’s air quality and the choices they can make in their own home. It really isn’t just a bunch of old people complaining, which I realize is something that happens regularly. The smoke is actually a problem and not healthy.
It’s an unfortunate situation, and I have no beef with the business in any other way, I haven’t noticed any major traƯic problems and the owner Marvin is very nice and friendly. I do agree though that there must be some change made, it’s not fair to the neighbors to have their activities limited and to have smoke permeating the neighborhood regularly.
Kind Regards,
Megan Watt
