I am a woman of 81 years who has lived on this property for 24 years, who needs to walk more than ever, but now uses a cane. I have also been a dedicated cyclist and am an ecologist, eager to see more cycling.
I add my voice to many others that the current proposal for an added piece of the Apple Blossom bike trail to come up on our driveway to head on to the cemetery, is highly risky and is a very bad idea.
I wan’t to add that that I was part of the citizens group that helped to create the concept for The Barlow, and I suggest we create a similar group to come together to conceive of an alternate route, that would best serve all concerned. I’m excited by the concept, and would be happy to participate.
