Subject: Letter of Support For A&M BBQ
Dear Sebastopol City Council,
I am writing to show my support for A&M BBQ. As a graduate of Analy High School, I have spent years of my life learning, shopping, exploring, and working in this beautiful city. As a person of color, I was so grateful to see a successful black owned business create so much community and excitement around their business.
I have been working for A&M, creating videos for them for the past two years now and I have seen first hand the excitement, recognition, and community that A&M has build for Sebastopol. I am not only frustrated by the discriminatory challenges this local business is receiving, but I am absolutely disappointed in city’s lack of support for the very businesses they encourage to be established in Sebastopol.
We look to you, the city council of Sebastopol, to protect the businesses that choose to bring their dreams to this city. A failure to protect this business is a failure to represent what Sebastopol claims to represent.
Sincerely,
Mickale Jones
