Subject: A & M bbq
I am writing in strong support of A & M BBQ, a truly special part of our downtown community. This restaurant is much more than a place to eat — it is a gathering place filled with kindness, warmth, and people who genuinely care about this town and the people in it.

The owners and staff have consistently been friendly, supportive, hardworking, and welcoming to everyone who walks through their doors. In my opinion, they are hands down the best restaurant in town, not only because of the food they serve, but because of the positive spirit they bring to our community every single day.

Downtown living naturally comes with activity. Restaurants cook food, coffee shops roast beans, delivery trucks arrive, people gather, music plays, and businesses create energy and life. That atmosphere is part of what makes downtown vibrant and desirable. It would be unfair to single out one business for conditions that are common throughout any active downtown area.

If the city ultimately determines that this restaurant cannot remain in its current location, I respectfully ask that you give them ample time, flexibility, and compassion to find a suitable new home. Small businesses are the heart of our community, and relocating a beloved restaurant is not something that can happen overnight.

Please give them a fair opportunity and recognize the tremendous value they bring to this town.

Businesses like this deserve support, patience, and understanding — not unnecessary hardship.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
Pam Rumberg,MSW HHP
