Subject: A&M BBQ

5/26/26
Sebastopol City Council
Dear Council,
In the past a few members of this council have made some very poor choices in decisions that aƯect our city. Our budget proves that point. Do not continue the same path. The issue at hand is pertaining to A&M BBQ. They are a business that brings in folks from all over North Bay. They supply our city with SALES TAX, BUSINESS TAX and who knows where else these customers go after visiting A&M BBQ. If you continue to make them struggle doing their business, they may decide to leave.

The ONLY purpose of this council is to do what benefits most of the population in Sebastopol. A few people, generally the same ones, complain about everything. You need to allow A&M BBQ to continue their livelihood and serve the people in this area.

Yes, they may need to comply with the laws that pertain to the business, and the council must not hinder them in the process. If they are law abiding, that’s significant to keep them in business. If they, and only if they need to acquire equipment by law, to stay legal then have them do what’s needed.

DO NOT use the cries of a few to aƯect the many.

This town has many issues that need to be addressed, and your time could be better spent on those. Let a family run their business and supply this town with great food and TAX money.

Thank you,
Steve Finkelstein
