Dear Sebastopol City Council,
I’m writing to support A&M BBQ and the Austin family. They’re a local family business that has become a real part of the community, and it’s honestly frustrating to see the restaurant at a point of having to defend themselves.
They’ve supported local events, employed local people, and built something that a lot of people in this area genuinely enjoy and appreciate. From everything I’ve seen, they’ve also been willing to work with the City and look for solutions while trying to keep their business and staƯ going.
Small businesses are not easy to build, especially in California, and it feels unreasonable to treat a local restaurant like this. They aren’t causing problems, and I hope that they don’t end up leaving Sebastopol because of instances like this. Don’t push them out
