Subject: West County Softball Association Support for A&M BBQ Dear Members of the Sebastopol City Council,
We are writing to express our strong support for A&M BBQ and the positive impact they continue to have in our community through their partnership with the West County Softball League.

A&M BBQ has generously donated their time and effort to help make our league’s closing ceremonies special by smoking hot dogs for our families, players, and community members. Their willingness to give back goes far beyond business, it demonstrates genuine community investment, generosity, and care for local youth programs.

Their support matters deeply to our league and to the many families who participate each season. Small businesses that actively contribute to community events help strengthen the social fabric of Sebastopol and create meaningful experiences for local children and families.

It is also important to recognize the broader value A&M BBQ brings as a Black-owned business in a predominantly white retirement community. Diverse local businesses contribute culture, representation, and inclusivity to our town. Supporting businesses like A&M BBQ helps foster a community that is welcoming, vibrant, and reflective of broader perspectives and experiences.

I hope the City Council will continue to support and encourage businesses like A&M BBQ that actively invest in the wellbeing and unity of our community.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
West County Softball Association Board
Tyanna Austin - President
Lori Jay - Vice President
Kasey Hillier - Player Agent/Coach Liaison
Steve Trivinovich - Umpire in Chief
Katie Mahre - Treasurer
Erin Elliott - Secretary
Brena Kennedy - Merchandise Coordinator
