Subject: Water and Sewer missed opportunity
I was dismayed by the grand jury report on the mismanagement of these funds, especially as a resident of Hutchins Ave, a dead end road surrounded by Sebastopol yet perpetually in the City's "area of influence" (though slated to be annexed according to the Long Term Development Plan)... we all know this hasn't happened because of the cost of installing a pumping station and a proper City Sewer.

My neighbors and I need to maintain septics in an area frequently inundated, with only 4 feet of sandy loam above a clay layer, making percolation difficult during the rainy season. Also, this also limits the ability for us to add permitted units and ADUs, all while impacting the potential improvement of the water quality of the Laguna, another stated City goal.

Who knew the money was there the whole time?
Michael Siminitus
