The Sebastopol Library has always been in an ideal location, within an easy walk of all the schools, and in the heart of our walkable city. After school, it provides a safe and welcoming place for students to come after school to do their homework or relax until their parents get off work and can bring them home. This has been a popular choice for thousands of kids through the years. Kids from Analy feel safe walking past the businesses along Main St.
Many kids don't feel safe walking alone on the bike trail.
As a resident living in town, I greatly appreciate both the library and the Senior Center being in the heart of town. We want a downtown that is busy with people and life. Removing these community hubs would be a huge loss for our downtown vitality and for our businesses.
Thank you,
Lisa Pierce
