I encourage you not to make any decision about the loan for Well 4 until there has been a proper review by the EFOC.
If the EFOC hasn’t seen the financing proposal, it would be unwise for the City Council to go ahead and vote on such a complicated and costly issue.
The EFOC was created exactly for this type of complex and costly decision.
They have the time and the experts in the room to do proper analysis of this proposal.
This is an urgent matter and since the August 25th EFOC meeting was cancelled, I urge you to reschedule quickly so they can analyze and report back.
After attending Kate’s Water and Sewage Ratepayer’s Town Hall, there are many more rate payers who are aware and concerned about how the city manages the water and sewer.
This is an extremely important and critical issue to get right.
