Subject: Support foir Bargain Market
City Council,
I’m angry at the opposition to establishing a Grocery Bargain Outlet Market in Sebastopol. I just saw a flyer opposing it. That opposition is shortsighted and parochial. Yes, Sebastopol is a special place.
Although we live a ways away in Guerneville, we often shop in Sebastopol, at places like Pacific and Andy’s. One of our favorite restaurants is Fandees.
Having a Grocery Outlet Bargain Market in Sebastopol would entice us and many others to shop in town more often. Local businesses can only prosper when more money flows into the community.
Opposition does the community a disservice by resorting to parochial thinking. We urge the city council to support bringing a Bargain Market to Sebastopol, and we hope it opens there.
