Subject: Dear Sebastopol Supervisors
I have been a longtime resident. Considering ALMOST half of Redwood Shopping Center is empty and vacant....How is it that we somehow NEED another Bagel Store next to a loved Sebastopol Institution "Grateful Bagels". And we cannot have a BBQ place?? Anywhere? Its a damn shame The City seems incapable of providing a space where a much loved, highly successfull, African american owned business can BBQ without bothering a handfull of people. And the City is making them move to Santa Rosa?? Guess what, Sebastopol has lost them, and doesn't Deserve a BBQ place of that caliber for the way our city has been managed. Ive been here for over 30 years and I havent seen this many vacant businesses! Its impossible to do or start a new business here and its very saddening to see.
