Just writing to voice my desire for the former Rite Aid site NOT to host a Grocery Outlet.

As a Sonoma County native and Sebastopol resident, part of what makes our town special to me are local, non-chain businesses. Filling the town with Safeways, and Little Caesar's (what the heck happened there???) and Grocery Outlets, waters down our unique culture.

Not only is this less fun, it makes our town less desirable for tourism and other sources of revenue.

Why go to a place that's the same as every other place? Our town already has many affordable grocery store options - why give another chain such a special location downtown?
Here's hoping you will say NO to Grocery Outlet, so we have something that fits Sebastopol in that space.
