The other 20% is done at Oliver’s, Whole Foods and Safeway.
I wholeheartedly support Sebastopol’s decision to limit the presence of larger corporate businesses. It keeps the town’s character and supports local businesses. Grocery businesses already operate on razorthin margins, adding another one that is also a chain hurts all the currently established ones, especially the three non-chains we support the most.
It would probably also add traffic to an already congested area, more traffic than Rite Aid ever did.
I’m asking City to not permit this.
