I live near downtown Sebastopol and have many friends who live in town. It is a common belief that Sebastopol has plenty of wonderful local grocery stores nearby, which don't need any competition , and there are plenty of wonderful discount grocery stores within a short distance outside of Sebastopol that people regularly go to. I have long believed that Sebastopol needs much more than additional grocery stores. There is a need for places to go where people can stay active and social, such as a health club. We want and need to keep our townspeople young and vibrant, and build places in our town where people can enjoy each other socially in an active way. There are plenty of people who wish for an all inclusive health club in sebastopol.
