Managers Gourley and Council members,
Please do NOT approve the contract for library repairs at your meeting this week. Multiple sources have predicted that there will be intense rains here this fall. That is likely to resaturate the interior areas that are proposed for repairs. It is foolhardy, in my view, to fix the interior without fixing the cause of the problem, as it is likely that the interior will have to be repaired AGAIN.
Please do not do the interior repairs until the source of the problem is determined and fully repaired.
