Dear Sebastopol City Council
As a citizen of Sebastopol, I believe that the purchase of the O'Reilly center to become the Sebastopol Commons is critically important to the future of our community. We must look to the future! The Senior Center needs to expand, the Library needs a new home, the Community Center needs a new home, and many of our local non-profits need office space! The Senior Center alone, must be able to continue to serve an ever-growing population of "healthy agers" here in Sonoma County. The idea of a place that will serve many different facets of life here, is an exciting proposition!
PLEASE do not be short-sighted in this decision.
PLEASE do what it takes to finance and purchase the O'Reilly center and create a positive legacy for the future of our wonderful community.
Sincerely
Judith Redwing Keyssar, RN
