Subject: Grocery Outlet
Dear council members,
Please consider allowing Grocery Outlet to come to the old Rite Aid building in Sebastopol. It will bring much-needed revenue to the city and allow lower income people to get deals. I shop at the Rohnert Park store at least once a week. I also shop at Safeway, Fircrest, and occasionally Whole Foods and Lucky’s.
This will not allow any decrease in revenue to the existing stores from me as I will continue to shop them as well.
Many people that shop Grocery Outlet in Rohnert Park and Santa Rosa go there specifically for what they carry. If there’s one in Sebastopol, it could potentially bring extra revenue to the other stores as Grocery Outlet doesn’t carry everything.
We have enough empty buildings in this town. This allows at least one to have an occupant.
Thanks for your consideration to this matter.
Sincerely,
Barbara Thomas
Sebastopol city resident
