Subject: A&M BBQ
I thought the purpose of City Hall was to protect and encourage the citizens of Sebastopol to talk about their complaints and concerns. The city has ignored our neighborhoods complaints, including data, which shows increased air pollution when A&M barbecue is smoking. When A&M barbecue first began, it was a very small operation and it has now morphed into a huge commercial enterprise. I know many people on the council are “pro business“ but what about the welfare of the citizens who live here? We have smoke pollution every single day when the smoker is operating in the early hours of the morning.
Will you please, for once, consider the welfare of those people who voted for you? And, incidentally, we are also pro-business, but a large commercial smoker should not have been allowed within a block of a neighborhood. Thank you.
