Dear City Council members,
I would imagine all of you have had the same response I had when I read about our police chief chasing in his car a man on a bicycle and going down the wrong way of McKinley St with cars having to get out of the way until he hit a lamppost and a fence.
For a non-violent shoplifting crime.
How lucky we all are that no one was hurt.
This is outrageously reckless behavior and show questionable judgement on the part of the head of our law enforcement.
And a few weeks before...a high speed chase that ended up in a vehicle crash.
This certainly makes me feel less safe on our roads and in our town.
