Subject: Road repair
Dear Councilmembers:
I live on Western Ave between Palm and Hayden. Our street was on the list to be repaired next but was somehow not even considered for repair at all - even in the 3-year plan.
Outrageous! Palm Ave has been repaired over and over again while our street is on it’s way to looking like our neighboring streets Eastside and South.
Please inform Director Hart that our street is also on school routes (it becomes Pinecrest where it intersects with South) and should be repaired before the City allows it to fall into such disrepair that it requires reconstruction like the streets closest to us.
Have you heard from any other City streets that were not even considered for repair? This is unacceptable. Please assess Western/Pinecrest and revise your plan.
