I want to express my opinion that Grocery Outlet should not be approved to move in to Sebastopol. We have so many grocery stores already. They will just be taking the business from the stores already in Sebastopol mostly from Andy’s, Pacific Market, Community Market (it may be their deathblow), Safeway, Lucky's and of course, Fircrest Market. Not only will Grocery Outlet hurt the sales for the independent stores, the traffic they will generate with semi-truck store deliveries and customers going to their location, will be an absolute nightmare. Elphick, Fircrest, Lynch, Pleasant Hill will all be used as shortcuts to by-pass town. As it is now, there are some days when traffic going north on Gravenstein Highway is backed up to Sequoia Burger up through Pacific Market. Traffic is so bad and is a huge problem already in Sebastopol please let’s not make life even more difficult for everyone by allowing Grocery Outlet in. Please say NO.
