Subject: Two messages
Dear City Council:
1. I walk to downtown most every day for groceries and mail. I am frequently nearly run down by bikes and skate boarders on the sidewalk. I am 76. Please protect the city sidewalks.
2. You paid dear taxpayer’s money for advertising a corrupt communist anti-family organization, BLACK LIVES MATTER, and splashing its name across the town square. (note the all CAPS).
Marxist Influences: According to the Capital Research Center, co-founders Patrisse Cullors and Alicia Garza trained under radical organizers and have acknowledged past engagement with Marxist ideology. In a 2018 video that resurfaced publicly, Patrisse Cullors described herself and other organizers as "trained Marxists”.
Furthermore, the founders used donated money to buy a plush residence in SoCal and use it for personal pleasures.
• Personal Use: According to an interview with the Associated Press reported by NBC News, Cullors later acknowledged staying overnight at the home a few times and using it for personal events, including her son's birthday and a small gathering for the BidenHarris inauguration. She stated she regrets those decisions.

• I do not like seeing a public area used to advertise a private corrupt organization and especially at taxpayer expense. This was an abhorrent use of public money and the letters on the public square should be altered to lower case noble statement like “Black lives matter” , or taken out.
• Thank you for your attention to these concerns.
