Dear City Council,
I have lived in Sebastopol most of my life. I own a home at 446 Petaluma Avenue and I'm invested in the health of my town and neighbors.
As a breast cancer survivor, I am particularly concerned about the air quality around my house.
Not only do I live with the emissions from all the vehicles driving by on Petaluma Ave., I also experience the emissions from Main St.
Now on top of the idling fumes from the traffic, I am also, now, in addition being exposed to the emissions from the two stove pipes burning at the A&M BBQ joint, one block over from my home!!
I hope you will consider the health of those of us living right in the midst of all these proven carcinogens. Are you going to choose business over our health? I ask you to think of the health of our community over the growth of businesses, especially those that disregard healthy regulations that have already been established for air quality.
