Subject: Re: Proposed Grocery Outlet
Please, reconsider this idea. As a long time citizen and home owner of Sebastopol, I strongly object to the proposed idea to bring Grocery Outlet into Sebastopol For many reasons this is just the wrong thing to do. First, there has been a long time plan in place not to allow chain type stores to come into town.

While Little Caesars pizza happened - that as a one time mistake. But to allow it again there is no excuse for it. Period.

Second, what about the seven grocery/market stores that are already in town?. These have all been long time establishments who have served the city and county. The city owes it to them not to jeopardize their businesses. And many of them have contributed to the city in so many ways. For example, Firecrest Market has for years contributed to the city with donations in so many ways. They support our Firsts Responders, Youth Programs, Kiwanis and so many more. And the new owners have already worked so hard to continue doing the same.

Third, Sebastopol traffic has already increased to the point that it is unbearable at many times of the day.

Plus, there are already Grocery Outlets in both Rohnert Park and Santa Rosa.

As a thirty seven year resident of Sebastopol I have stayed here because I have respected the values and integrity of this city. If this plan were to happen that would seriously question my values and integrity and make me reconsider about continuing to reside inthis area..

Thank you.
