RESOLUTION NO. 2022-02-6667
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SIGNAL HILL, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A GENERAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES FOR MISCELLANEOUS SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED TO THE CITY BY THE COUNTY ON AN AS-NEEDED BASIS WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Signal Hill desires to renew the General Services Agreement (GSA) currently in effect between the County of Los Angeles and the City; and WHEREAS, the current GSA expires on June 30, 2022.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SIGNAL HILL AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Signal Hill hereby requests renewal of its GSA with the County of Los Angeles for General Services, terminating on June 30, 2027.
Section 2. The City Council of the City of Signal Hill requests the Board of Supervisors to consent to the renewal of the GSA subject to the terms and provisions thereof and to authorize Los Angeles County Departments to continue to provide the services requested pursuant to the GSA.
Section 3. The City Council hereby approves and authorizes the Mayor to execute the GSA with the County of Los Angeles (Exhibit A).
Section 4. The City Clerk of the City of Signal Hill is hereby directed to send three certified copies of the resolution and three executed copies of the GSA to the Chief Executive Officer for the County of Los Angeles.
Section 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and shall cause the same to be processed in the manner required by law.
