PROCEDURES RELATIVE TO PUBLIC HEARINGS
1. At the request of the Mayor, the City Clerk reports on the Form of Notice given:
Notice was published in the Signal Tribune newspaper on March 4, 2022.
Notice was posted at Signal Hill City Hall, Signal Hill Library, Reservoir Park, and Discovery Well Park on or before March 4, 2022.
2. Mayor asks for a staff report, which shall be included in written materials presented to the City Council so that they can be received into evidence by formal motion.
3. Mayor declares the public hearing open.
4. Mayor invites those persons who are in favor of the ordinance to speak.
5. Mayor invites those persons who are in opposition to the ordinance to speak.
6. Mayor declares the public hearing closed.
7. Discussion by Council only.
8. City Attorney reads title of ordinance.
9. City Clerk conducts Roll Call vote.
