Dear Mayor and City Council Members,
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration regarding our proposal for The Signal Hill Community Foundations Annual Fall Fund Raiser on Friday, October 7 from 5:00 – 8:30 pm.
Following the success of last year’s Fall Fundraiser Wine Tasting event, the Foundation is planning an Arts and Appetizers evening, showcasing 8-10 local artists, and working with local restaurants and caterers.
Subject to COVID restrictions, we plan to have a maximum of 200 guests and hope to raise $10,000 to support the continued efforts of the Foundation's many community programs and events.
To ensure the success of this event, the Foundation is requesting support from the City to supply the following essential services and equipment and waive the restriction regarding alcohol use at public facilities. • 30 Tables and 100 Chairs
• Podium
• City personnel to set up and pack down furniture and trash disposal.
• Use of both the Signal Point Terrace and Zinnia Courtyard, from 12 -10 pm (and reserve the community room should there be inclement weather).
• Permit live acoustic music, maximum 4 musicians, to be played on the Terrace during the event.
