In order to keep our Signal Hill neighbors informed of the details of AUHS’s planned expansion we have completed the following efforts:
1. Development of a two sided flier which overviews our plans along with the target dates for implementation. The flier also invited the public to attend various town-hall meetings. 1a. March 26th 2022 - The flier were distributed to attendees of a community gathering held at the University, inviting the public to attend a town-hall meeting on April 3 from 12pm to 2pm. 1b. March 30th 2022 - The fliers were hand distributed to the entrances of all residences within a 500 foot radius of the college inviting the public to attend a town-hall meeting on April 3, from 12pm to 2pm.

1c. April 7th 2022 - The fliers were distributed by mail to residences within a 300 foot radius of the college. Plus to an additional 59 residents who live on Legion Drive per the request of the Community Development Department. An affidavit of delivery will be sent by NotificationMaps.com.
The Flier invited the public to participate in a town hall meeting being held at the University on April 23rd between 10 am and 12 pm.
2. April 15th - A link was added to the home page of the AUHS website which takes viewers to a special section which overviews our expansion areas and give residents a way to communicate with us directly about our plans. Also featured in this section “Key Dates” which lists the dates of all public meetings.
3. April 19th 2022 - A twelve foot banner was produced and erected on the corner of E. Hill Street and Walnut Ave. The banner draws attention to our planned expansion and directs neighbors to visit AUHS.EDU for further details. Also on the banner was an invitation participate in a town hall meeting being held at the University on April 23rd between 10 am and 12 pm.
