This Letter of Concurrence confirms that the American University of Health Sciences Parking Demand Analysis prepared by Linscott, Law, and Greenspan, dated September 7, 2022, is in substantial conformance with the following national recognized institutions for parking studies:
• Institute of Transportation Engineers “Parking Generation Manual, 3 Generation” • City of Signal Hill Municipal Code Parking Requirements • California Department of Transportation Highway Design Manual The operations-based parking analysis outlines the parking management plan measures that were taken into account. These include altering class schedules and managing special events on campus by providing valet and/or shuttle service during the events. As a result, this study demonstrates the on-site supply of 237 marked parking spaces would adequately serve the proposed uses and expansion with no significant impacts.
