RESOLUTION NO. 2022-10-6710
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SIGNAL HILL, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING WORK TO BE COMPLETED IN CONFORMANCE WITH THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR 2022 SLURRY SEAL PROGRAM (PROJECT NO. 90.23003) IN THE CITY OF SIGNAL HILL, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONTRACT ENTERED INTO BETWEEN MISSION PAVING AND SEALING, INC. AND THE CITY OF SIGNAL HILL WHEREAS, on April 12, 2022, the City Council authorized the execution of a Public Works Contract with Mission Paving and Sealing, Inc. (Mission Paving) for the Project; and WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has submitted its approval of the final quantities and cost figures, and the scope of work under Mission Paving’s task order is deemed complete.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Signal Hill, California, does hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1. That work required to be completed by Mission Paving has been completed for the 2022 Slurry Seal Program (Project No. 90.23003) and that the total cost of said work is in the amount of $299,505.00.
Section 2. That the work is hereby accepted and approved.
Section 3. It is further ordered that a Notice of Completion (Exhibit A) be filed, on behalf of the Agency, in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of Los Angeles within ten (10) days of the date of this resolution.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the contract heretofore awarded by the Signal Hill City Council of the City of Signal Hill, California, to Mission Paving and Sealing, Inc. that was the company thereon for doing the following work, to wit:
2022 SLURRY SEAL PROGRAM (PROJECT NO. 90.23003) IN THE CITY OF SIGNAL HILL, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONTRACT ENTERED INTO BETWEEN MISSION PAVING AND SEALING, INC. AND THE CITY OF SIGNAL HILL That said work, located on real property owned by the City of Signal Hill, was completed on August 19, 2022 by said company according to the plans and specifications and to the satisfaction of the City Council of the City of Signal Hill, and that said work was accepted by the City Council of the City of Signal Hill at a regular meeting held on the 11th day of October, 2022, by Resolution No. 2022-10-XXXX.
