RESOLUTION NO. 2022-10-6711
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SIGNAL HILL, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE ADOPTED PERSONNEL SUMMARY BY DEPARTMENT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2022-23 RECLASSIFYING TWO SWORN POLICE OFFICER POSITIONS WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the Annual Operating and Capital Budget for Fiscal Year 2022-23 on June 28, 2022, that included a proposed personnel summary by department; and WHEREAS, from time to time the Council finds it necessary to amend the budget for changing needs or priorities; and WHEREAS, on October 11, 2022, Matrix Consulting Group presented the Organizational Assessment of the Police Department report to the City Council. After discussion, the Council received and filed the report and unanimously directed staff to return with a report to supplement the budget to fund 35 sworn positions; and WHEREAS, the adopted personnel summary will be amended to include the proposed adjustments for Fiscal Year 2022-23 as contained in Exhibit A to this Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SIGNAL HILL, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
THE ANNUAL PERSONNEL SUMMARY for Fiscal Year 2022-23 is hereby approved with the following amendment to the personnel summary attached hereto as Exhibit A.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Signal Hill, California, on this 25th day of October, 2022. ________________________________
