FIRST AMENDMENT TO
AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTANT SERVICES
Parties and Date.
This First Amendment to the Agreement for Professional Consultant Services (“First Amendment”) is entered into on the 8th day of November, 2022, by and between the City of Signal Hill, a municipal corporation, organized under the laws of the State of California, with its principal place of business at 2175 Cherry Avenue Signal Hill, CA 90755 (“City”) and FCG Consultants, Inc. a California Corporation, with its principle place of business at 22885 Savi Ranch Pkwy, Suite G, Yorba Linda, CA 92887 ("Consultant"). City and Consultant are sometimes individually referred to herein as “Party” and collectively as “Parties.” Recitals.
Agreement. The Parties entered into that certain Agreement for Professional Consultant Services dated October 12, 2021 whereby consultant agreed to provide project management services related to the Spring Street Bicycle Lane Gap Closure Project through October 12, 2022 for the sum of $281,693 (“Agreement”).
First Amendment. The Parties now desire to amend the Agreement in order to extend the term of the Agreement.
Terms.
Term. Section 2a of the Agreement is hereby amended in its entirety to read as follows:
This Agreement shall go into effect on October 12, 2021, contingent upon approval by the City, and Consultant shall commence work after notification to proceed by the City’s Contract Administrator (“Notice to Proceed”). This Agreement shall end on December 28, 2022, unless extended by written amendment.
Remaining Provisions of Agreement. Except as otherwise specifically set forth in this First Amendment, the remaining provisions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
