2023 COMMEMORATIVE FLAG DISPLAY SCHEDULE
Summary:
The City Council will consider adopting the 2023 Commemorative Flag Display Schedule by resolution.
Recommendation:
Adopt the resolution, entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SIGNAL HILL, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE 2023 COMMEMORATIVE FLAG DISPLAY SCHEDULE
Fiscal Impact:
There is no fiscal impact associated with the recommended action. Any flag scheduled for display will be purchased by the requesting party and provided to the City for the duration of the display.
Strategic Plan Objective:
Goal No. 5: Ensure an enhanced quality of life for residents of the City.
Background and Analysis:

Cultural Programming at the Library
The Library provides cultural programming throughout the year, based on community interests, planned Library programming, and available resources. Past programming has included recognition of Black History Month, Women’s History Month, Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month, National Hispanic Heritage Month, and Native American Heritage Month.
