Summary:
Ordinance No. 2023-02-1543 was introduced at the City Council meeting of February 28, 2023 and is now presented for adoption.
Recommendation:
Adopt Ordinance No. 2023-02-1543, entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SIGNAL HILL, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTION 12.05.040 OF CHAPTER 12.05 OF THE SIGNAL HILL MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO NEW STREET TREE PLANTING
Background and Analysis:
At the February 28, 2023, City Council meeting, the City introduced Ordinance No. 2023-02-1543, amending section 12.05.040 of the Signal Hill Municipal Code (SHMC) relating to New Street Tree Planting. Staff is now presenting the Ordinance for adoption.
The City posted a summary of the Ordinance in accordance with SHMC 1.08.010 and published in the Signal Tribune newspaper on March 3, 2023. Upon adoption of the Ordinance, the summary will be posted in accordance with SHMC 1.08.01, and published in the Signal Hill Tribune Newspaper.
Ordinance No. 2023-02-1543 will be published in its entirety on the City website.
