RESOLUTION NO. 2023-05-xxxx
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SIGNAL HILL, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING WORK TO BE
COMPLETED IN CONFORMANCE WITH THE PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE WELL NO. 8 DEMOLITION
AND WELL NO. 10 CONSTRUCTION (PROJECT NO.
95.18011) IN THE CITY OF LONG BEACH, IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONTRACT ENTERED INTO
BETWEEN PASCAL & LUDWIG CONSTRUCTORS, INC.
AND THE CITY OF SIGNAL HILL
WHEREAS, on the 12th day of January 2021, the City Council of the City of Signal Hill, California, authorized the execution of a Public Works contract with Pascal & Ludwig Constructors, Inc. for Well No. 8 Demolition and Well No. 10 Construction Project (Project No. 95.18011); and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has submitted its approval of the final quantities and cost figures, and the scope of work under Pascal & Ludwig Constructors, Inc.’ task order is deemed complete.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Signal Hill, California, does hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1. That work required to be completed by Pascal & Ludwig Constructors, Inc. for Well No. 8 Demolition and Well No. 10 Construction Project (Project, No. 95.18011) has been completed on March 10, 2023, and that the total cost of said work is in the amount of $3,143,765.15.
Section 2. That the work is hereby accepted and approved.
Section 3. It is further ordered that a Notice of Completion (Exhibit A) be filed, on behalf of the Agency, in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of Los Angeles within ten (10) days of the date of this resolution.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the contract heretofore awarded by the Signal Hill City Council of the City of Signal Hill, California, to Pascal & Ludwig Constructors, Inc. that was the company thereon for doing the following work, to wit:

CONSTRUCTION PROJECT (PROJECT NO.
95.18011) IN THE CITY OF LONG BEACH, IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONTRACT
ENTERED INTO BETWEEN PASCAL & LUDWIG

SIGNAL HILL.
That said work, located on real property owned by the City of Signal Hill, was completed on March 10, 2023 by said company according to the scope of work, maintenance services agreement, and to the satisfaction of the City Council of the City of Signal Hill, and that said work was accepted by the City Council of the City of Signal Hill at a regular meeting held on the 9th day of May 2023, by Resolution No. 2023-05-XXXX (see Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof).
