RESOLUTION NO. 2023-06-6742
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SIGNAL HILL, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING WORK TO BE COMPLETED IN CONFORMANCE WITH THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE DISCOVERY WELL PARK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (PROJECT NOS. 80.23005 & 80.23006) IN THE CITY OF SIGNAL HILL, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONTRACT ENTERED INTO BETWEEN PLAYCORE WISCONSIN, INC., DBA GAMETIME, AND THE CITY OF SIGNAL HILL WHEREAS, on the 25th day of October 2022, the City Council of the City of Signal Hill, California, authorized the execution of a Public Works contract with GameTime for the Discovery Well Park Improvement Project (Project Nos. 80.23005 & 80.23006); and WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has submitted its approval of the final quantities and cost figures, and the scope of work under GameTime’s task order is deemed complete.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Signal Hill, California, does hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1. That work required to be completed by GameTime for the Discovery Well Park Improvement Project (Project Nos. 80.23005 & 80.23006) has been completed on May 9, 2023, and that the total cost of said work is in the amount of $403,028.14.
Section 2. That the work is hereby accepted and approved.
Section 3. It is further ordered that a Notice of Completion (Exhibit A) be filed, on behalf of the Agency, in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of Los Angeles within ten (10) days of the date of this resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Signal Hill, California, on this 13th day of June 2023.

NOTICE OF COMPLETION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the contract heretofore awarded by the Signal Hill City Council of the City of Signal Hill, California, to PlayCore Wisconsin, Inc., dba GameTime, that was the company thereon for doing the following work, to wit:
DISCOVERY WELL PARK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (PROJECT NOS. 80.23005 & 80.23006) IN THE CITY OF SIGNAL HILL, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONTRACT ENTERED INTO BETWEEN PLAYCORE WISCONSIN, INC., DBA GAMETIME, AND THE CITY OF SIGNAL HILL.
That said work, located on real property owned by the City of Signal Hill, was completed on May 9, 2023 by said company according to the scope of work, maintenance services agreement, and to the satisfaction of the City Council of the City of Signal Hill, and that said work was accepted by the City Council of the City of Signal Hill at a regular meeting held on the 13th day of June 2023, by Resolution No. 2023-06-XXXX (see Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof).
