City adopts one that applies to all their agencies. In 1992, the City adopted the Fair Political Practices Commission Conflict of Interest Code by reference.

At its June 27, 2023, meeting, the City Council approved the new classifications of Assistant to the City Manager/Economic Development Manager, Communications Officer, and Emergency Management Coordinator, added the classifications to the City-wide pay schedule, and updated the Personnel Summary as part of the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2023-2024.

To ensure the accuracy of the City’s Conflict of Interest Code, the list of designated employees is proposed to be updated as follows:
· Addition
o Communications Officer
· Title Update
o Economic Development Manager à Assistant to the City Manager/Economic Development Manager
o Emergency Operations Coordinator à Emergency Management Coordinator o Senior Building Inspector à Principal Building Inspector With City Council approval, the Conflict of Interest Code would be updated to include the additional positions and/or changes.
