A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SIGNAL HILL, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING WORK TO BE COMPLETED IN CONFORMANCE WITH THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE SPRING STREET BICYCLE LANE GAP CLOSURE PROJECT (PROJECT NO. 90.18003) IN THE CITY OF SIGNAL HILL, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONTRACT ENTERED INTO BETWEEN SEQUEL CONTRACTORS, INC. AND THE CITY OF SIGNAL HILL WHEREAS, on the 14th day of December 2021, the City Council of the City of Signal Hill, California, authorized the execution of a Public Works contract with Sequel Contractors, Inc. for Spring Street Bicycle Lane Gap Closure Project (Project No. 90.18003); and WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has submitted its approval of the final quantities and cost figures, and the scope of work under Sequel Contractors, Inc.’s task order is deemed complete.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Signal Hill, California, does hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1. That work required to be completed by Sequel Contractors, Inc. for Spring Street Bicycle Lane Gap Closure Project (Project No. 90.18003) has been completed on July 27, 2023 and that the total cost of said work is in the amount of $1,899,150.49.
Section 2. That the work is hereby accepted and approved.
Section 3. It is further ordered that a Notice of Completion (Exhibit A) be filed, on behalf of the Agency, in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of Los Angeles within ten (10) days of the date of this resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Signal Hill, California, on this 8th day of August 2023.

NOTICE OF COMPLETION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the contract heretofore awarded by the Signal Hill City Council of the City of Signal Hill, California, to Sequel Contractors, Inc. that was the company thereon for doing the following work, to wit:
SPRING STREET BICYCLE LANE GAP CLOSURE PROJECT (PROJECT NO. 90.18003) IN THE CITY OF SIGNAL HILL, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONTRACT ENTERED INTO BETWEEN SEQUEL CONTRACTORS, INC. AND THE CITY OF SIGNAL HILL.
That said work, located on real property owned by the City of Signal Hill, was completed on July 27, 2023 by said company according to the scope of work, public works contract, and to the satisfaction of the City Council of the City of Signal Hill, and that said work was accepted by the City Council of the City of Signal Hill at a regular meeting held on the 8h day of August 2023, by Resolution No. 2023-08-XXXX (see Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof).
