FIRST AMENDMENT TO
AGREEMENT FOR GENERAL SERVICES
Parties and Date.
This First Amendment to the Agreement for Emergency Slope Failure Repair Services (“First Amendment”) is entered into on the 23rd day of April 2024, by and between the City of Signal Hill, a municipal corporation, organized under the laws of the State of California, with its principal place of business at 2175 Cherry Avenue Signal Hill, CA 90755 (“City”) and Zimprich Engineering, Inc, a Corporation, with its principal place of business at 24835 East La Palma Ave, Yorba Linda, California, 92887 (“Contractor”). City and Contractor are sometimes individually referred to herein as “Party” and collectively as “Parties.” Recitals.
Agreement. The Parties entered into that certain Agreement the provision of certain Emergency Slope Failure Repair Services required by the City dated the 11th day of February 2024.
First Amendment. The Parties now desire to amend the Agreement in order to extend the term of the Agreement. 180 days.
Terms.
Term. Section 3.1.2 of the Agreement is hereby amended in its entirety to read as follows:
Contractor shall perform its services in a prompt and timely manner and shall commence performance upon the effective date established in City’s notice to proceed. Contractor shall complete the services required hereunder prior to September 25, 2024 Remaining Provisions of Agreement. Except as otherwise specifically set forth in this First Amendment, the remaining provisions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
