FIRST AMENDMENT TO
AGREEMENT FOR GENERAL SERVICES
Parties and Date.
This First Amendment to the Agreement for professional environmental engineering consulting services to administer the City’s Industrial Waste Program and state-mandated stormwater quality programs. (“First Amendment”) is entered into on the 14th day of May 2024, by and between the City of Signal Hill, a municipal corporation, organized under the laws of the State of California, with its principal place of business at 2175 Cherry Avenue Signal Hill, CA 90755 (“City”) and John L. Hunter & Associates, Inc, a California Corporation, with its principal place of business at 6131 Orangethorpe Avenue, Suite 300, Buena Park California 90620, (“Consultant”). City and Consultant are sometimes individually referred to herein as “Party” and collectively as “Parties.” Recitals.
Agreement. The Parties entered into that certain Agreement for professional consulting services to provide professional environmental engineering to administer the City’s Industrial Waste Program and state-mandated stormwater quality programs dated the 23rd of March 2021.
First Amendment. The Parties now desire to amend the Agreement in order to extend the term of the Agreement.
Terms.
Term. Section 3.1.2 of the Agreement is hereby amended in its entirety to read as follows:
The term of this Agreement shall be from March 23rd, 2021 to June 30th, 2027, unless earlier terminated as provided herein. The City reserves the right to review the Contractor’s performance at the end of each year and cancel all or part of the Agreement.
Remaining Provisions of Agreement. Except as otherwise specifically set forth in this First Amendment, the remaining provisions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
