Dear Mayor and City Council Members,
The Signal Hill Community Foundation respectfully requests consideration to serve wine at the upcoming Vice Mayor Reception on Friday, November 8, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Signal Hill Public Library – Signal Point Terrace.
Guests will enjoy a wine and appetizers, followed by a presentation to recognize and celebrate the career of outgoing Vice Mayor Ed Wilson.
The reception is open to the public and we anticipate having 150 people in attendance. All permits and licenses, including security guard services, will be secured in compliance with local and state regulations. Wine will only be poured for persons ages 21 and older, and limited drink tickets will be issued for each person.
The Foundation is requesting approval from the City Council to allow that wine be served at the reception on Friday, November 8, 2024, from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
