RESOLUTION NO. 2024-12-6853
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SIGNAL HILL, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING WORK TO BE COMPLETED IN CONFORMANCE WITH THE PLAN SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE ADA CURB RAMP INSTALLATION PROJECT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONTRACT ENTERED INTO BETWEEN MAJ ENGINEERING INCORPORATED AND THE CITY OF SIGNAL HILL WHEREAS, on the 23rd day of July 2024, the City Council of the City of Signal Hill, California, entered into a contract with MAJ Engineering, for the ADA Curb Ramp Installation Project; and NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Signal Hill, California, does hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1. That work required to be completed by MAJ Engineering for the ADA Curb Ramp Installation Project has been completed on October 28, 2024, and that the total cost of said work is in the amount of $157,885.
Section 2. That the work is hereby accepted and approved.
Section 3. It is further ordered that a Notice of Completion be filed on behalf of the Agency, in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of Los Angeles within ten (10) days of the date of this resolution.

NOTICE OF COMPLETION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the contract heretofore awarded by the Signal Hill City Council of the City of Signal Hill, California, to MAJ Engineering that was the company thereon for doing the following work, to wit:
ADA CURB RAMP INSTALLATION PROJECT IN THE CITY OF SIGNAL HILL, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONTRACT ENTERED INTO BETWEEN MAJ ENGINEERING AND THE CITY OF SIGNAL HILL.
That said work, located in the City of Signal Hill, was completed on October 28, 2024, by said company according to the scope of work outlined in the contract and to the satisfaction of the City Council of the City of Signal Hill, and that said work was accepted by the City Council of the City of Signal Hill at a regular meeting held on the 10th day of December 2024, by Resolution No. 2024-12-6853 (see Exhibit “A” attached hereto and made a part hereof).
