Dear Mayor and City Council Members,
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration regarding our proposal for the Signal Hill Community Foundation’s A Night of Magic Event on Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
The Signal Hill Community Foundation’s goal is to promote relationships with community members and businesses to raise awareness and engagement to support community programs and events. The Foundation has contacted the Signal Hill Chamber of Commerce and confirmed that this event will also be beneficial to the business community.
To ensure the success of this event, the Foundation is requesting support from the City to supply the following essential services and equipment:
1.Use of the Signal Hill Public Library Signal Point Terrace Courtyard from 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
2. Approximately (10) Tables, (100) Chairs, and small stage if deemed necessary.
3. City personnel to set up and break down equipment.
4. Permit live background music, a maximum of (4) musicians, to be played during the event.
5. Allow appetizers and beer/wine to be served.
